Designer and manfacturer of removable
insulation covers and fire protection covers
DECAMAT® - Removable insulation covers See the video
DECAMAT® covers are quickly and easily installed and removed. They are engineered for a perfect fit to irregular shapes (flanges, heat exchangers, manholes, turbines,...) and optimal insulation in corrosive or neutral atmospheres at a temperature range of 50 to 1000 degrees C and over.

DECAMAT® insulation covers are a must where regular maintenance or repair, quick removal and reinstallation by unskilled labour is required.
Quality assurance
- 20 years experience in this field.
- 100.000m2 covers so far have been fitted at various plants in the following industrial sectors: chemical and petrochemical plants, nuclear power plants, district heating, and so on...
- stringent selection of materials (fabrics, basic insulation materials, yarns) based upon the working conditions of each individual item to be insulated.
- ongoing research and quality control
Energy conservation
DECAMAT® insulation covers are tailor-made with an overall even thickness of the entire cover.
They are designed in such a way that a close fitting to the existing pipe insulation is obtained.
This results in a reduction of heat loss with a minimum of 90% (compared to a non insulated, bare surface).
Benefits
- Reduction of energy loss
- Absence of thermal bridges
- Tailor-made
- Flexible, lightweight, maintains its shape
- Long-life span
- Easy installation and removal
- Improved working conditions
- Non-flammable
- No toxic fumes
Savings
- Short-term return on investment (between 1 and 3 years)
- Case study
Identification marks
Upon request, engraved metal labels on the insulation jacket and insulated item can be added so that both may easily be identified during maintenance.
Special insulation
Our scope includes the insulation of the most versatile shapes, such as:
- steam turbines,
- exhausts of diesel engines,
- pumps,
- extruders,
- heat exchangers,
- filters...
After-sales service
Periodical maintenance can be arranged by contract.
